Imaging Fluorescence Fluctuation Spectroscopy: New Tools for Quantitative Bioimaging

摘要: Fluorescence fluctuation spectroscopy (FFS) techniques provide information at the single-molecule level with excellent time resolution. Usually applied a single spot in sample, they have been recently extended into imaging formats, referred to as FFS. They spatial optical diffraction limit and temporal microsecond millisecond range. This review provides an overview of different modalities which FFS implemented discusses present capabilities limitations. A combination nanoscopy would allow one record detailed nanoscopy, is ∼20 nm limited only by fluorophore size labeling density, resolution FFS, fluorescence lifetime. new insights biological events providing spatiotemporal unprecedented levels.
