摘要: The YAP/TAZ family of transcriptional co-activators drives cell proliferation in epithelial tissues and cancers. Yet, how YAP TAZ are physiologically regulated remains unclear. Here we review recent reports that act primarily as sensors polarity, being inhibited when cells differentiate an apical membrane domain, activated contact the extracellular matrix via their basal domain. Apical signalling occurs canonical Crumbs/CRB-Hippo/MST-Warts/LATS kinase cascade to phosphorylate inhibit YAP/TAZ. Basal Integrins Src kinases activate Thus, is localised nucleus stem/progenitor cytoplasm differentiated squamous or columnar cells. In addition, other signals such mechanical forces, tissue damage possibly receptor tyrosine (RTKs) can influence MST-LATS activity modulate activity.
