摘要: Abstract The p53 gene on chromosome 17p is considered to be a tumor suppressor gene, and frequent mutations of the have been found in wide variety human cancers. We examined 31 ovarian cancers for allelic losses by polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformation polymorphism analysis as well restriction fragment length analysis. Allelic loss was detected 16 20 cases (80%). Mutations were 9 (29%): 2 exon 4; 5 exons 5–6; 7–8. In 8 cases, accompanied normal allele.
