摘要: In this paper, we propose a new data gathering mechanism for large-scale multihop sensor networks. A mobile observer, called SenCar, which could be robot or vehicle equipped with powerful transceiver and battery, works like base station in the network. SenCar starts tour periodically from static processing center, traverses entire network, gathers sensors while moving, returns to starting point, and, finally, uploads center. Unlike network are can made very simple inexpensive. They upload sensed when moves close them. Since only communicate others within limited range, packets some may need relays reach SenCar. We first show that moving path of greatly affect lifetime. then present heuristic algorithms planning path/circle balancing traffic load that, by driving along better lifetime prolonged significantly. Our algorithm used both connected networks disconnected addition, avoid obstacles moving. simulation results demonstrate proposed prolong significantly compared has observer move straight lines.
