Realization and modeling of a 27-GHz integrated passively mode-locked ring laser

摘要: We present a realization and the modeling of 27-GHz integrated extended cavity ring laser that is passively mode-locked. The mode-locked fabricated with active-passive integration. Experimental results show internal reflections are major factor affecting operation stability. Continuous-wave, self-pulsating, in small windows regimes have been observed. Similar observed our bidirectional model. This model describes semiconductor amplifier saturable absorber using rate equations. Our experimental theoretical compared discussed.
