摘要: New T cell-based blood tests for tuberculosis infection could improve diagnosis of but their clinical utility remains unknown. We describe the role ELISpot test in diagnostic work-up 13 patients presenting with suspected routine practice. Of seven a final active tuberculosis, all were positive by including three false-negative tuberculin skin results. Rapid determination accelerated enabling early treatment initiation.
