摘要: Background and objective: Very little is known about the response rates to or appropriateness of treatment for patients with allergic fungal diseases lung. This study assessed effect antifungal therapy in severe asthma sensitization (SAFS) bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA). Methods: A retrospective cohort 33 adult who fulfilled criteria either SAFS (n = 22) ABPA (n = 11) was conducted. All had received at least 6 months. The primary end point on patients' lung function. Results: Overall, total IgE values radioallergosorbent test (RAST) A. fumigatus markedly decreased after 6 months both (P = 0.004 P = 0.005, respectively). Reduction seen eosinophil count (P = 0.037), dose oral steroids (P = 0.043) courses systemic required (P = 0.041). Lung function also improved (P = 0.016). Four 10 discontinued therapy. levels (P = 0.015) RAST observed (P = 0.006) those treated 1 year drugs. Conclusions: Both benefited from may act by reducing antigenic load, interacting corticosteroids a direct immunological effect.
