摘要: Lymph-node metastasis (LNM) predict high recurrence rates in breast cancer patients. Systemic treatment aims to eliminate (micro)metastatic cells. However decisions regarding systemic depend largely on clinical and molecular characteristics of primary tumours. It remains, however, unclear what extent metastases resemble the cognate tumours, especially a genomic level, as such will be eradicated by therapy chosen. In this study we used high-resolution aCGH investigate DNA copy number differences between cancers their paired LNMs. To date, no recurrent LNM-specific aberrations have been identified using array comparative hybridization (aCGH) analysis. our employ platform stratify different subtypes, both aspects that might underpowered previously performed studies. To test possibility instability triple-negative (TNBCs) cause increased random potentially also (CNAs) LNMs, studied 10 TNBC-LNM pairs ER-positive (ER+) verified findings adding additionally 5 22 ER+-LNM pairs. We found all LNMs clustered nearest matched tumour except for two cases, which one was due presence distinct histological components tumour. significantly altered CNAs entire group or subgroups. Within TNBC subgroup, absolute increase compared suggesting does not lead more Our suggest clonal relationship tumours its at least prior treatment, support use guide adjuvant chemotherapy
