摘要: Mycobacterium haemophilum is a slow-growing nontuberculous mycobacterium that can cause disease in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised patients. The most common clinical presentations of infection are the appearance suppurative ulcerated skin nodules. For diagnosis, samples collected from suspected cases must be processed under appropriate conditions, because M. requires lower incubation temperatures iron supplementation order to grow culture. In this case report, we describe occurrence lesions kidney transplant recipient, caused by haemophilum, associated with acupuncture treatment. diagnosis was established direct smear culture material aspirated cutaneous lesions. Species identification achieved characterization growth requirements partial sequencing hsp65 gene. patient successfully treated clarithromycin ciprofloxacin for 12 months. Considering number patients receiving treatment widely increasing, implications potential complication should recognized, particularly immunosuppressed
