摘要: In this study, the opportunity to invest in combined heat and power (CHP) plants second-generation biofuel production Europe is investigated. To determine number type of plants, a mixed integer linear model used, based on minimization total cost whole supply chain. Different policy scenarios are studied with varying values carbon support. The study focuses technology CO2 emission substitution potential, at constant energy prices. CHP competing for same feedstock (forest biomass), which available limited quantities. results show that preferred over high costs (over 50 EUR/tCO2) low support (below 10 EUR/GJ), whereas more would be set up 15 irrespective cost. Regarding highest potential can reached It concluded there conflict interest between policies promoting increased use biofuels, aiming decreased emissions.
