摘要: ABSTRACT The Geula cave of Mount Carmel was found to contain flint tools the Levalloiso—Mousterian and Levalloisian type (carbon dating for layer B1: 42,000 ± 1700). especially rich in small mammal remains, which some 30 species are described present paper. It is argued that fossil species, such as Erinaceus carmelitus, sharonis Crocidura katinka, cannot be regarded valid. On other hand many recent up now were not known have existed Levalloiso-Mousterian, at Geula.
