摘要: In recent years, nonfusion stabilization of the lumbar spine has gained more and popularity. These systems intend to maintain or restore intersegmental motions magnitudes intact have no negative effects on segments adjacent stabilized one. This study investigated DYNESYS, a dynamic system, which is designed stabilize bridged while maintaining disc facet joints. To determine magnitude effect segment, six cadaver spines were fixed in tester loaded with pure moments three main motion planes. For each spine, four different stages tested: intact, defect middle fixation internal fixator. Intersegmental measured at all levels. DYNESYS was flexible than difference between fixator most pronounced extension (P < 0.05), restoring back level spine. The not influenced by either method. Our results suggest that provides substantial stability case degenerative spinal pathologies can therefore be considered as an alternative method fusion surgery these indications segment preserved.
