摘要: Modulus mapping and on-site field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) nanoindentation are both applied for the first time on ‘undisturbed’ healthy human osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) cortical bones in this work. reveals elastic moduli of hydroxyapatite collagen to be 189·9 2·4 GPa normal bone 294·7 GPa 2·9 GPa OI respectively. also indicates a spatial variation consistent with distribution mineralized fibril extrafibrillar mineral.
