Structural, optical, magnetic, and electrical properties of nanospinels containing different molar ratios of cobalt and aluminum ions

摘要: Aluminum substituted by cobalt of aluminates having a nominal composition CoCo x Al2-x O4, where x = 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2, were synthesized the thermal decomposition complex precursors derived from metal nitrate salts glycine. All samples characterized using different techniques, XRD, FT-IR, TG, DTA, DSC, TEM. XRD showed that all have spinel cubic crystal structure. Using Debye–Scherrer formula, calculated crystallite size was found concentration dependent varied between 21 32 nm. Lattice parameter, X-ray density, porosity, unit cell volume to show effect Al3+ substitution on structure investigated samples. Cation distribution oxygen content into specific stoichiometry calculated. The optical, magnetic, electrical properties also studied. nano aluminate (x = 0.5) Co/Al molar ratio 1 highest values saturation magnetization (M s  = 1.1 emu g−1) conductivity (3.1 × 10–8 Ω−1 cm−1) compared other ones. color parameters (L*, a*, b*) measured. results collected discussed.
