摘要: Self-advocacy is a client's ability to represent one's interests when managing disease or disability. may increase seek, evaluate, and use information promote health, yet little known about the role of occupational therapy in promoting self-advocacy. This scoping review aims identify interventions within therapists' scope practice improve A literature search was conducted through Academic Search Complete that All levels evidence were included, articles reviewed for inclusion by two authors. Included charted level evidence, objectives, participants, results. Fourteen met criteria. Interventions included interactive multimedia interventions, peer-led educational groups, writing job counseling advocacy, disease-specific advocacy programs. Occupational therapists are well-equipped intervene self-advocacy workplace modification, utilizing assistive technologies, facilitating groups.
