摘要: The association between drug abuse and criminal activity has been deeply established, but the nature of this relationship is controversial. incidence types were analyzed in 837 arrests 578 subjects who also interviewed for psychiatric diagnosis evaluation responsibility. There was a significant prevalence heroin abuse/dependence (50.5 %) sample. Another 124 (21.5 whom no disorder could be observed considered as control group. Heroin abusers younger (26 years, SD 5.9) than controls (29 11.2) showed some different ethnic characteristics. most important risk factor (O.R. = 10.15) recidivism. Females more related to nonviolent males. higher offenses against property among (burglary 57.8%; robbery 19.5%) group 15.3% 4.8%). In contrast, aggression or resistance police authorities nonfatal persons frequent (12% 13.7%, respectively) (3.7% 3%, respectively). results study confirm hypothesis abuse/dependence, probably based on financial needs. However, seems not single direct cause-effect relationship, other factors show influence activity.
