Recent advances, design guidelines, and prospects of flexible organic/inorganic thermoelectric composites

摘要: Thermoelectrics can recover waste heat, environmental heat or heats from different sources and convert it to electricity. Inorganic metal thermoelectrics have higher ZT values efficiency; however, they are also expensive, rigid poor mechanical properties, contain toxic rare elements. Organic low cost, flexible facile rapid formation; very efficiency compared with inorganic materials. Organic–inorganic composite benefit both properties extremely competitive for commercial applications. This review will focus on organic–inorganic devices as well their challenges.
