摘要: This study deals with neurophysiologically based models simulating electrical brain activity (i.e., the electroencephalogram or EEG, and evoked potentials EPs). A previously developed lumped-parameter model of a single cortical column was implemented using more accurate computational procedure. Anatomically acceptable values for various parameters were determined, multi-dimensional exploration parameter-space conducted. It found that could produce large variety EEG-like waveforms rhythms. Coupling two models, delays in interconnections to simulate synaptic connections within between areas, made it possible replicate spatial distribution alpha beta activity. EPs simulated by presenting pulses input coupled models. In general, responses realistic than those produced model. Our simulations also suggest scalp-recorded EP is at least partially due phase reordering ongoing
