摘要: Abstract Objectives To determine the recurrence rate and risk factors for urinary tract infection (UTI) in children who present with a febrile UTI have negative radiologic evaluation. Febrile UTIs no abnormalities are common cause of morbidity children. Methods We performed retrospective review all referred to our medical center after UTI. Results reviewed 850 charts. Of children, 78 had normal ultrasound voiding cystourography findings. 25 recurrent (3 boys 22 girls). Forty-five percent girls developed 14% ( P = 0.02). Three (two younger than 1 year age) were uncircumcised one Eleven (39%) 28 first presented at age 7 (58%) 12 5 years or older UTIs. The 2 5-year-old group was 24% (4 17). Seven exhibited symptoms dysfunctional elimination syndrome. Conclusions In evaluation, more girls. Boys may be an increased during life. girls, time not predictive recurrence. Although contribute young association seems old older.
