摘要: A cloned library of DNA complementary to the mRNA adult Schistosoma japonicum has been prepared and expressed as fusion proteins with Escherichia coli β-galactosidase. Colonies expressing S. cDNA clones were screened both antibodies from individuals a history schistosomiasis obtained rabbit immunized whole worms. In cases colonies detected which bound antibody, although frequency antigen-positive was much higher antiserum than human sera. proportion reacting markedly lower that published for equivalent screens Plasmodium falciparum sera malaria. Several major antigens identified by affinity purification using immobilised produced during lytic growth recombinant bacteriophage.
