摘要: Aberrant activation of cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) is widespread in human cancers. However, the underlying mechanisms CDK9 and therapeutic potential inhibition cervical cancer remain largely unknown. Here, we report that gradually upregulated during lesion progression regulated by HPV16 E6. levels are highly correlated with FIGO stage, pathological grade, deep-stromal invasion, tumor size, lymph nodes metastasis. Knockdown specific siRNA inhibits cell proliferation vitro, as well tumorigenesis vivo. causes a significant decreased AKT2 increased p53 protein expression revealing novel CDK9-regulatory mechanisms. Overexpression rescued suppressive effects caused knockdown, suggesting induction essential for CDK9-induced transformation. Moreover, was positively negatively tissues infection. Our findings demonstrate first time acts proto-oncogene cancer, modulating apoptosis through AKT2/p53 pathway. Therefore, our data provide mechanistic insights into role development. © 2018 IUBMB Life, 71(3):347-356, 2019.
