摘要: Abstract Introduction Near-infrared diode lasers can be used for several applications, which range from disinfection to smear layer removal in endodontics. This study evaluated the efficacy of agitation 15% EDTA with an 808-nm laser on layer. Methods Sixty extracted human maxillary central incisor teeth were instrumented up ProTaper F4 (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballagues, Switzerland) and then randomly divided into 6 groups ( n = 10 each group) according different final irrigating protocols as follows: 5% sodium hypochlorite 120 seconds performed NaviTip Ballaigues, (control group); NaviTip; 10, 20, 30, 40 seconds. Specimens observed under a scanning electron microscope, open dentinal tubules counted using Adobe Photoshop software (Adobe Systems, San Jose, CA). The data analyzed 1-way analysis variance Tukey post hoc tests P .05). Results number was higher middle thirds than apical thirds. differences between statistically significant Conclusions results indicated that 20 effective removing root canals.
