摘要: Objective  To determine the prognostic role of p53, Ki-67 and p21 for patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer treated curative intent by radiotherapy. Patients methods  The study included 131 (24 women 107 men, median age 72 years, range 40–86) transitional cell carcinoma (T2-T4) external definitive pelvic radiotherapy between 1985 1994. Paraffin-embedded pretreatment biopsies from were examined presence Ki-67, detected immunohistochemistry, related to tumour stage, grade patient survival. Results  The expression p53 protein correlated positively detection (P 5% tended live longer than those 5%) independent factors overall survival. Conclusion  Further investigation is warranted in undergoing different types treatment. seems play an these patients, addition T category grade.
