摘要: The relationship between melanin pigmentation and metastatic phenotype of melanoma cells is an intricate issue, which needs to be unambiguously determined fully understand the process metastasis malignant melanoma. Despite significant research efforts undertaken solve this problem, outcomes are far from being satisfying. Importantly, none proposed explanations takes into consideration biophysical aspects phenomenon such as cell elasticity. Recently, we have demonstrated that granules dramatically modify elastic properties pigmented cells. This prompted us examine mechanical effects melanosomes on transmigration abilities Here, show for first time inhibit in a number dependent manner. Moreover, demonstrate inhibitory effect nature. Results obtained study elasticity may play key role efficiency spread vivo. Our findings also contribute better understanding
