摘要: Abstract Semi-solid metal (SSM) forming processes are the developed technologies, which have been used for manufacturing near-net-shape-components in molten semi-solid state is cast into a die. Excellent mechanical properties can be obtained by fine, non-dendritic and uniform microstructures comparison with conventional casting processes. Despite an appropriate fluidity of material state, various defects observed due to existence solid liquid phases fluid different flow behaviors. Various parameters should controlled prevent formation achieve homogeneous across specimen. In this research, that affect defect from geometrical technical perspectives evaluated main factors control identified. Moreover, improvement affected those was studied.
