摘要: SRY, the mammalian Y-chromosomal testis-determining gene, induces male sex determination. Recent studies in mice reveal that major role of SRY is to achieve sufficient expression related gene Sox9, order induce Sertoli cell differentiation, which turn drives testis formation. Here, we discuss cascade events triggered by and mechanisms reinforce differentiation testes males while actively inhibiting ovarian development.
