摘要: Peptides are important bioactive natural products which present in many marine species. These peptides have high potential nutraceutical and medicinal values because of their broad spectra bioactivities. Their antimicrobial, antiviral, antitumor, antioxidative, cardioprotective (antihypertensive, antiatherosclerotic anticoagulant), immunomodulatory, analgesic, anxiolytic anti-diabetic, appetite suppressing neuroprotective activities attracted the attention pharmaceutical industry, attempts to design them for use treatment or prevention various diseases. Some derivatives commercial had reached markets. A large number already different phases clinical preclinical pipeline. This review highlights recent research trends prospects future, with special emphasis on development into marketed products.
