Lead Poisoning in Rural Scotland

摘要: Nine people from four families living in rural parts of Scotland have been found to suffer clinical or biochemical effects lead poisoning. Five had symptoms and unequivocal evidence excessive exposure. The source has traced the domestic water supply which all cases was grossly contaminated with acquired plumbing systems, including storage tanks. Clinical improvement followed replacement piping two studied. Lead poisoning is a possible cause chronic ill health areas plumbosolvent water.
