The effects of reviews in video tutorials

摘要: This study investigates how well a video tutorial for software training that is based on Demonstration-Based Teaching supports user motivation and performance. In addition, it studied whether reviews significantly contribute to these measures. The Control condition employs with instructional features added dynamic task demonstration. Review additionally includes reviews. Participants were 55 seventh graders who viewed demonstrations followed by practice. Both tutorials increased i.e., relevance self-efficacy the had better results time, scores an immediate post-test. Reviews have rarely been in visualizations. present suggests there may be important advantages gained from concluding demonstration summary of main points.
