摘要: Background Recent data suggest that vacation may improve cardiovascular health, an effect possibly moderated by altitude. The aim of the present study was to a 3-week at moderate and low altitude on perceived health in individuals with increased risk. Methods Seventy-two overweight males, both occupationally active retired (mean age=56.6±7.2 years), signs metabolic syndrome were randomly assigned identical sojourns either (1,700m) or (300m) engaged four 3- 4-h heart-rate-controlled hiking tours per week. Perceived measured 2 weeks before vacation, beginning end 7 after vacation. Results Fitness, recreational ability, positive negative mood social activities improved during independent occupational status, although day-to-day improvement quality sleep delayed During follow-up examinations, improvements all reported aspects except for maintained. In comparison individuals, showed greater long-term activities. Conclusion Vacation positively affects status generally inactive males.
