摘要: The wild tomato, Solanum pennellii, is an important source of resistance genes against tomato pests. This due to the presence acyl sugars (AS), which are allelochemicals that have negative effects on arthropod There no commercially available cultivars exhibit significant levels Therefore, this study evaluated whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) in F2 and F2RC1 genotypes with high AS from a cross between lycopersicum ‘Redencao’ S. pennellii accession, LA-716. Plants were exposed B. tabaci biotype B at pre-flowering stage. In both generations, there significant, correlations content oviposition preference nymph development. Whitefly exhibited lower for produced fewer nymphs parent than low AS-level Redencao cultivar, demonstrating breeding program was effective transferring generations.
