摘要: To identify environmental carcinogens there is a need for inexpensive and reliable short-term tests, but certain human or animal are persistently undetectable as mutagents with the Ames assay other tests currently in use. Thus which detect missed by assay. Because of association carcinogenesis genome rearrangement, system screening intrachromosomal recombination resulting rearrangement has been constructed Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Evaluation this shows inducibility variety not detectable various tests. In light these results it tempting to speculate that 'nongenotoxic carcinogens' fact genotoxic but, past, tools measure genetic alterations they induce have inappropriate.
