摘要: Edible bird's nest (EBN) is derived from the saliva of certain types swiftlets. It consumed in many parts world for its nutritional and medicinal values. Although claims have been made on therapeutic health-promoting effects EBN, scientific documentations regarding these are very limited published literature. not until recently that biological EBN being investigated evidence-based studies conducted. Several found may enhance cell proliferation differentiation various beneficial reported vitro as well vivo. While point towards potential use treatment or even prevention several diseases, mechanisms action remain largely unknown more explorations needed. This review one few reviews which focuses recent discoveries.
