摘要: Objective: Morphometric studies of postmortem brains from subjects with mood disorders have reported altered density glial cells in the amygdala; however, nuclear regions not been examined individually. Methods: We assessed size and both neuronal discrete amygdalar nuclei sections major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder (BD) schizophrenia nonpsychiatric control subjects. Three adjacent Nissl-stained were each individual. Results: report significantly decreased neuron somal lateral nucleus (LAN) accessory basal parvocellular (ABPC) BD, relative to These changes cellular morphology most prominent LAN obtained left hemisphere. Conclusions: findings add increasing evidence for neuropathological amygdala BD specifically implicate ABPC this disorder.
