摘要: Abstract Changes in the extracellular levels of dopamine (DA) and its metabolites dopaminergic terminal regions, medial frontal cortex (MFC), nucleus accumbens (NAC), striatum (STR), were measured by microdialysis during self-stimulation forebrain bundle (MFB) rats pretreated with DA uptake inhibitor, nomifensine (1 mg/kg, i.p.).Self-stimulation MFB nomifensine-pretreated caused an increase level MFC NAC but not STR. Self-stimulation also increased concentrations main metabolites, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) homovanillic (HVA) to a similar extent lesser Thus, there was regional difference neurochemical changes following either or showing larger DA, DOPAC, HVA than Furthermore, these observed on both hemispheres ipsilateral contralateral stimulation.
