摘要: Adrenomedullin (AM), α- and β-calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), calcitonin (CT), amylin are homologous polypeptides with overlapping biological actions such as vasodilatation inhibition of bone resorption. They brought about through receptors that include the CT receptor (CTR) an initially orphan receptor-like (CRLR) in association receptor-activity-modifying proteins (RAMP)1, -2, -3. Co-expression CRLR RAMP1 or -2 revealed CGRP AM receptors, respectively. The CTR interacts does not require a known RAMP for functional expression. same is CGRP/amylin upon co-expression -3, Interactions between thought to be required their delivery cell surface. There, heterodimeric complexes corresponding reveal high-affinity AM, CGRP, amylin. Here we review current knowledge on interactions G protein-coupled defined associated proteins. Microsc. Res.
