摘要: This study describes and contrasts the kinematics kinetics of stair ambulation in people with chronic stroke healthy control subjects. Three-dimensional motion data were collected from 10 persons (7 males) sex age-matched older adults as they ascended descended an instrumented staircase at self-selected speed without a handrail. Ankle, knee hip joint angle moment profiles generated during stance range peak moments contrasted between groups, sides (stroke only) condition. Cadence was lower than controls, although kinematic appeared similar ascent decent. Notable differences evident extensor typically on affected side compared controls less side. These accounted for magnitude net support moment. The abductor likely limited lateral stability. Handrail use tended to reduce only leading more side-to-side occurred findings reveal task performance groups that help inform rehabilitation practice.
