摘要: Many compounds derived from marine organisms have new and unusual structures with significant biological activities, pharmacological properties, including antiviral activity, of seaweed natural products, been discovered. The herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) infection is endemic worldwide one the most prevalent infections in Brazil. Although several substances are available for treatment individuals infected 1, development resistant mutations viruses, side effects associated drugs available, occurrence severe cases disease shown importance search effective therapies against herpes. Hence, aim this review to summarize discuss information on extracts isolated molecules different seaweeds anti-herpes activity. Perspectives choosing classes orders algae future studies activity discussed.
