摘要: Abstract A new cell line, designated UHKBR-01, was successfully established from a 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA)-induced rat mammary tumour. DMBA administered orally at dose of 4 mg/ml per on the first day experiment and thereafter weekly intervals same dosage, until rats have reached weight around 150–200 g. The tumours grew rapidly after injection, were transplanted into nude mice one harvest size (2.5×2×1 mm3) reached, it onto mice. We developed line portion DMBA-induced carcinoma UHKBR-01 exhibited slow increase in growth rate during time culture highly tumourigenic cells been grown for over 40 passages. Characterization performed. This included morphology by light transmission electron microscopy, karyotype, rate, tumour antigen expression xenograft implantation These exhibit ultrastructural immunohistochemical features epithelial origin. above analyses also demonstrated that oestrogen- progesterone-receptor positive, likeness to other breast cancer lines such as MDA-MB-231 MCF-7. grows monolayers oval-shaped with large folded nuclei accompanied rich supply mitochondria. report describes vitro transplantable mice, which presents unique characteristics may prove be good experimental model investigating biology.
