摘要: We have previously reported that transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF- beta 1) inhibits interleukin-6 (IL-6) induction by IL-2 and IL-1 in fresh human monocytes. investigated the effects of TGF-beta on expression tumoricidal activity induced or interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) showed specifically inhibited, a dose-dependent manner, IL-2-induced but not IFN-gamma- monocyte activity. The inhibitory TGF- IL-2-activated monocytes were caused down-modulation receptor (IL-2R beta) because treatment with increased IL-2R mRNA expression. However, we found down-modulated IL-2- gamma mRNA, which may be responsible for inhibition activation IL-2. resistance IFN- gamma-induced to could ability IFN-gamma decrease expression, as shown cross-linking experiments. Overall, these results is powerful inhibitor IFN-gamma-induced cytotoxic stage. This differential effect attributed modulation cytokine
