摘要: The impact of psychosocial factors on the incidence and progression cancer has become an area that demands attention. In this article recent evidence effects is reviewed in context past research. Psychosocial discussed include personality, depression, emotional expression, social support, stress. Mechanisms could mediate relationship between conditions are also reviewed. These alterations diet, exercise, circadian cycles; variations medical treatment received; physiological mechanisms such as psychoendocrinologic psychoneuroimmunologic effects. We conclude there a nonrandom among various can only partially be explained by behavioral, structural, or biological factors. Suggestions for future research discussed.
