摘要: Abstract Background Intelligence measures play a pivotal role in the diagnosis of mathematical learning disabilities (MLD). Probably as result math-related material IQ tests, children with MLD often display reduced scores. However, it remains unclear whether effects math remediation extend to Aims The present study investigated impact special program compared control group receiving private tutoring (PT) on WISC scores MLD. Methods We included N  = 45 (7–12 years) pre- and post-test design. Children received for two years average. Results analyses revealed significantly greater improvements experimental Full-Scale IQ, Verbal Comprehension, Perceptual Reasoning, Working Memory indices, but not Processing Speed, PT group. showed an average gain more than ten points. Conclusion indicate that might be underestimated effective intervention can improve test performance. Taking limitations into account, we discuss use generally defining research practice.
