摘要: This paper presents a linear programming model for optimal water allocations in large river basin system. The is applied to the transboundary Subernarekha River India, which has two main stream reservoirs, barrages, and three small command area reservoirs. Tripartite Agreement (TPA) among cobasin riparian states sharing of its waters analyzed. objective find maximum annual benefits from irrigation hydropower subject various constraints on Design as per TPA relating shares (i.e., Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal) at individual dams barrages are also considered. Optimal obtained based 75% year dependable flow specified TPA. Water shortage surplus years have been considered determine optical during dry wet years, respectively. reservoirs Chandil Icha would fail meet demands low whereas Kharkai Galudih essentially satisfy according provisions. Results indicate that Bihar likely benefit most
