摘要: The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) resulted in several outbreaks worldwide. Early tests for diagnosis were not always conclusive identifying a SARS suspected patient. Nucleocapsid protein (NP) is the most predominant virus derived structural which shed high amounts serum and nasopharyngeal aspirate during first week infection. As part such efforts, simple, easy to use immunoswab method was developed by generating panel monoclonal antibodies (MAbs), Bispecific MAbs chicken polyclonal IgY antibody against SARS-CoV nucleocapsid (NP). Employing MAb-based immunoswab, an NP concentration 200 pg/mL saline pig aspirate, 500 rabbit detected. BsMAb-based immunoswabs detected 20 saline, 20–200 aspirate. Polyclonal IgY-based 10 providing sensitive point care assay. Results show that robust detecting antigen can be into effective way individuals future epidemic, thereby reducing containing transmission. key feature this simple diagnostic assay its ability detect presence within 45–60 min with availability body fluid samples.
