摘要: The objective of this work was to conduct an activity-guided isolation antibacterial compounds from Rabdosia serra. ethanol extracts R. serra leaf and stem were partitioned sequentially into petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, butanol water fractions, respectively. extract evidenced broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive bacterial, including Bacillus subtilis, cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes. acetate fractions exhibited strong inhibition bacteria, then purified further. On the basis assay-guided purification, three phenolic (rosmarinic acid, methyl rosmarinate pedalitin) four C-20 oxygenated ent-kauranes (effusanin E, lasiodin, rabdosichuanin D a new compound namely effusanin F) obtained, whose contents determined by HPLC analysis. broth microdilution method confirmed important potential with low minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values. Effusanin lasiodin F could be useful for development agents.
