摘要: While the S-100 proteins have long been known as Ca2+-binding containing typical EF-hand structures (Moore 1965; Isobe et al. 1977), a third member of still growing protein family was discovered only few years ago. Due to its association with Ca2+-and phospholipid-binding p36 (annexin II), p11 purified from mammalian tissues and shown by sequence analysis share high degree homology S-l00α s.
