摘要: Legionella pneumophila is a natural intracellular bacterial parasite of free-living freshwater protozoa and an accidental human pathogen that causes Legionnaires’ disease. L. differentiates, does it in style. Recent experimental data on pneumophila’s differentiation point at the existence complex network involves many developmental forms. We intend readers to: (i) understand biological relevance forms found their potential to transmit disease, (ii) learn common depiction as biphasic cycle alternates between replicative transmissive form but oversimplification actual process. Our specific objectives are provide updates molecular factors regulate (section 2), describe 3), which for clarity’s sake we have dissected into five separate cycles. Finally, since each seems contribute differently pathogenic process transmission presented with challenge develop novel methods detect various present water 4), means improve our assessment risk more effectively prevent legionellosis outbreaks.
