摘要: Abstract Plasma disaturated phosphatidylcholine (DSPC) concentration has been implicated as a risk factor for atherosclerosis. However, suitable methods the estimation of these compounds in plasma are not available. In this paper, method DSPC using argentation thin-layer chromatography and high-performance liquid is described. It quantitative measurement individual total species dependent on fatty acid chain length. The employs hydrolysis phosphatidyl choline by phospholipase C, followed benzoylation diacylglycerols. benzoates then fractionated silver nitrate-impregnated silica gel plates, separated quantitated chromatography. sensitive reproducible allows many samples to be done at once. With method, amounts were found significantly higher group normolipidemic diabetic subjects, compared agematched controls.
