摘要: Abstract The motivation and academic performance of research participants depends on the time semester in which is conducted. Therefore, data collected only once during an term may not adequately sample participant pool. Sixty-eight undergraduates enrolled various sections introductory psychology course participated this research. Approximately every 2 weeks for 13 weeks, a different group 5–16 completed two orientation questionnaires. Participation was voluntary received extra credit participating. Participants last 6 collection were more grade-oriented had lower than first weeks. thirteenth week those fifth or eleventh This participation effect poses threat to external internal validity Recommended approaches reducing include collecting throughout randomly assigning dates.
