Diagnosis of Kawasaki disease

摘要: Kawasaki disease (KD) is a medium vessel vasculitis with predilection for coronary arteries. Due to lack of reliable confirmatory laboratory test, the diagnosis KD based on constellation clinical findings that appear in typical temporal sequence. These diagnostic criteria have been modified from time and most recent guidelines proposed by American Heart Association (AHA) 2017. However, several children may incomplete or atypical forms can often be difficult, especially infants young children. In this review, we detailed steps involved arriving at also highlight important role echocardiography management KD.
